Step 6: Spreading the Love by Patrona Step 6: Spreading the Love by Patrona
A little tribute for the awesome flash series There She Is!!.

For those who don't know, There She Is!! is a flash cartoon series made by a three-person team and hosted on the website SamBakZa. The plot revolves around a female rabbit, Doki, chasing a male cat, Nabi, in a world where love between the two species is socially unacceptable. Each flash, called a step, depicts the evolution of their relationship that keeps growing and growing. The theme of the animation is that all love can be accepted and has a chance.

If you're interested, you can see the flashes on the official site and on Newgrounds. I highly recommend it!

I highly recommend watching the entire series. Not only does it give out an important message, it's also very entertaining to watch. :)

My favorite is definitely Paradise, the last episode. It's absolutely awesome on every level! :D

I love that series so much. <3
I'm not the weepy type, but one episode literally brought me to tears. ;u;

Acceptance especially in who we are "allowed" to love is unfortunately a big issue. If things aren't the way they "should be" then people see the relationship as something bad... It really hurts how not all are accepting of something as innocent and pure as one's love for another. In the end, the strength of the pair's love overpowers the prejudice against them.

Exactly. Not only is this series entertaining, it also teaches us a valuable lesson about love and prejudice. Through all the difficulties and violence that their love spurred, they ultimately find the courage to stay true to themselves and love one another no matter what others say.
I also find it interesting that in the final chapter, all of their friends try their hardest to keep the two together. Friends should be doing just that: support the couple 'till the end, whoever they are and wherever they're from.

I think everyone should have a look at this series; it’s absolutely beautiful and inspiring to watch. :)

True, but that's actually the joke.
Doki and Nabi had to go through 5 steps to prove their love to each other, and now it's our turn to do something and spread the love (hence step 6). It's sort of a continuation of their legacy, if I can say it that way.

Agreed! Maybe it could involve their kids (if they can have any)? I would definitely enjoy a sequel. And even though I think the story wrapped up quite nicely, I'd love to see Doki and Nabi again in a whole new adventure.

Yeesh, that is a VERY ugly interbreed species.

But that's far from what I was imagining. Because logic doesn't necessarily exist within the universe of anthropomorphic animal characters, I was simply guessing that Doki and Nabi would have a normal rabbit and a normal cat for children. A cross of the two species would be... unnatural. :X
